The ECCA has been appointed as an official technical partner to the UNFPA Eastern Europe & Central Asia Regional Office. In this capacity, the ECCA provides support to the Regional Office on a wide variety of projects dealing with cervical cancer prevention at the regional level.

Preventing Cervical Cancer in Eastern Europe & Central Asia

The UNFPA Eastern Europe & Central Asia Regional Office commissioned the ECCA to prepare this policy brief on Prevention Cervical Cancer in Eastern Europe and Central Asia to support policy advocacy efforts at different  country, regional and global events. It presents a concise summary of the rationale for implementing comprehensive cervical cancer prevention programmes to contribute to evidence based policy dialogues.

Assessment of Capacities for the Implementation of Organized Cervical Cancer Prevention Programmes in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

The UNFPA Eastern Europe & Central Asia Regional Office commissioned the ECCA to prepare this analysis of the current situation and capacities in each of the countries in this region to provide clear evidence and concrete recommendations for programme interventions by the Regional Office as well as the respective UNFPA Country Offices. The outcomes of this analysis will contribute to evidence-based policy dialogues and facilitate the process of synchronization and efficient planning of cervical cancer prevention activities at the regional and national levels.
