Who should be screened?

In Scotland, cervical screening is recommended for almost all women from 20 to 60 years of age. This includes women who have passed the menopause, had their tubes tied and those who are no longer sexually active. If you are not sure you need to be screened, talk to your doctor who will be able to help you decide.
