How Often Should I be Screened for Cervical Cancer
The NHS Cervical Screening Programme invites women for screening at different intervals based on their age.
Age | Frequency |
25 | First invitation |
25 - 49 | Once every 3 years |
50 - 64 | Once every 5 years |
65+ | Only those women who have not been screened since age 50 or have had recent abnormal results |
